Durham City Incubator – video

Setting up my own business or any thoughts of becoming an entrepreneur were never considered or even discussed when I was at school or university thinking about my future.  

Thankfully times have changed and despite the negative images of entrepreneurs portrayed in TV programmes like The Apprentice – where new teeth and a fake tan rather than a brain and an idea seem to be the recipe for success – there is a huge amount of support available for people determined to back themselves and their products or services.

That support is particularly evident in County Durham where it even begins at Year 8 in school with the Future Business Magnates (please see previous posts) and has continued with the Durham City Incubator as the film below explains.
