New video – Ramadan and Eid

Our thanks to Imam Abdul Basit, the Newcastle Central Mosque community and EAL and Diversity Solutions for their kind welcome and co-operation in allowing us to make a film about Ramadan and Eid.

It was commissioned by Durham County Council’s International Office and will be watched by students at the county’s schools who will then take part in an online Q&A session with the Imam.

During lockdown we produced a film about Diwali which was also used as an introduction to a wider discussion.  Both projects have been enjoyable and educational for us as well.  Hopefully they’ll play a small part in creating a better understanding of diverse cultures and beliefs.
