Filming at the National Memorial Arboretum

We’ve been filming at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire where volunteers from BAE Systems have been helping prepare for this week’s commemorations and clearing trees and planting bulbs.

The number of visitors has grown so rapidly that a new visitor centre is being built.  It will be ready for next year’s Armistice events.

If you have never been there it is really worth a visit.  It is a place to remember all those people – not just members of the armed forces – who made the ultimate sacrifice.  It is also somewhere to enjoy the colours and the vista and be fascinated by the stories and history.
