My encounter with Cynthia Payne makes the news

Thirty years after writing about news for my first newspaper, I’m now making news in the Isle of Thanet Gazette.  It has printed the story of my encounter with Madam Cyn – Cynthia Payne – who said she wanted to set up a care home for men only in Margate.

Sadly, Cynthia died in November after a somewhat colourful life.  Not many people have two films made about them.
